Concept:
This project aims to speculate how language may sound, look like, and feel 50 years from now, in 2074. There is no correct answer, of corse, but this project required expert levels of storytelling/worldbuilding, actual scientific research, pop culture references from the back of your brain, and actually lightly using ai to help create visual concepts of such far out, but immensely plausible, yet scary, concepts.
I collaboratedwith Kate Aren and Brendan Downs to create a dystopian world where there are four dialects spoken in a futuristic Detroit society, with billionares on the top of the world and speak the most similiar to English, with cyborgs and robtos in the lower classes that speak almost entirely in code, and every dialect is translatable so the billionares can give orders throughout the classes to the very lowest.

Insights:This project was all about collaboration and taught me that spending as much time as you can with your team, even talking about the most random things can lead to such increcible ideas and bouncing off of one another just makes for really quick success. We also made this project the first of its kind, as in, theere were no visual examples from previous years and we truly had no idea what this would even turn out to become in the start, but it turned out better then what I think any of us hoped it could.
