My group and I shared a miro board and began to invest our time and research into soccer lingo, stats about the DCFC and Hamtramck in general, and also finding other case studies of football clubs to understand what language is being used, what visuals are shown and how we can take that as inspiration to develop our own assets.

2Making + Refining:
My role in the group was to create the social media content and overall visual strategy. I chose to develop everything using the soccer pitch as a grid, with real iamges of the fans and community from the DCFC’s facebook group, and add lively color and spunky lingo to feel as though the fans themselves are talking right out of the posts. Lauren did an amazing job with the motion, Jean worked hard on the supergraphic strategy and Lizzy helped with all the creation of the animatic, main researcher and overall process documentation organizer.
